Track 6 - "Wrong":
“Wrong” is another Chris and Eric track. It was composed during
the striped blazer period of Strange As Angels. They contacted
Dave, who was available since Mike Hines & The P-Funk All
Stars had recently disbanded. On a cold February night Dave
traveled to Eric's house in Bunfuck Egypt, New Jersey for a
brief run through of what was to become “Wrong”.
The rehearsals went smooth and studio time was booked at Knappy's
Bassment Studios (somewhere in Delaware) to record the track.
The project didn't have a name at the time, so the band name
of the moment was “Soul Patch”. Chris and Eric arrived about
30 minutes before the session to discuss the project. Several
ideas were discussed and there were even some pictures to illustrate
the direction of the project. At the time they seemed like
good ideas to us…
Tragically, the photographer that took these shots was killed
when a train struck his Gremlin. We felt terrible and as a
lasting tribute named the band after that train.

(Everything happens for a reason)
Chris and Eric are required by law
to wear shirts at all E9 performances. Under advice of counsel, we really
cannot discuss the case other than to say that they are
100% not-guilty of all charges. |
