Track 1 - "Intro":

At first “Enjoy The Buffet” was going to be a concept project with a single theme that would run through the entire disc. With this in mind we recorded a lounge sequence complete with clinging champagne glasses, ambient crowd noise, and a genuine old-school MC.*

After we had achieved the appropriate “Vegas” effect, we had Chris add his best Burt Bacharach to complete the audio canvas. We wanted to extend this sequence, but time constraints and excessive tuxedo rental fees forced us to cut it short. The overall finished product was very live sounding and funny (to us) and that’s what the whole thing is about…isn’t it?
